Greeting Cards

Will you be sending-out greeting cards this year?  I receive fewer and fewer each Christmas.  I imagine they will soon be obsolete Smiley

I found this vintage metal Christmas card holder recently.  I think it is quite charming...probably dating to the 1950s?  In spite of all the modern technology available today, I am still hoping to find some brightly colored cards in the mailbox over the next few weeks; preferably covered in glitter!

I plan to send them - love to send & receive! I love the vintage cards the best - cards used to be so much prettier, to me. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Sending Christmas cards is one of my favorite things to do this time of year. Unfortunately it seems this tradition is becoming a thing of the past. I wonder if those of us who love it should exchange addresses and send them to each other. It would be so nice to have some new lovelies to add to the collection. I'd be glad to add a few new addresses to my list!

Yes, we send out cards each year, and although I love receiving them, I'm trying to convince my husband that we should stop. Those stamps are expensive!
That card holder is super charming!

I love getting cards in the mail; last year, though, things got so hectic at the holidays that we ended up sending out Valentines instead.

I save my Christmas cards from everyone. While unpacking my Christmas decor this weekend, I found 2 from last year. 2!! So sad! I remember as a child, we used to receive so many. My mother would hang them up on the front door. The door would be covered from top to bottom. Isn't it a shame that something as endearing as a Christmas card is becoming less natural?
