The House Up the Street - Part 2

Back on May 6, I featured this quaint sideyard garden that belongs to an elderly couple that lives up the street from me. Tulips were blooming at that time.
That same little garden currently has this appearance. Gorgeous, isn't it?

You can't tell from the photo, but the garden is quite large. I would need to take an overhead shot in order to feature it accurately. Do you think the couple would mind if they looked our their window and spotted a woman dangling from one of the nearby tree branches?

Hello Out There

Did you have time to read the latest copy of Modern Priscilla? Oh wait. It's not 1925, is it? I found this magazine issue at a thrift shop. I was fascinated by the cover because I love to garden. I'm not a very good gardener, but I love FLOWERS and TOMATOES, so flowers and tomatoes are what I plant and water and fertilize and pray will thrive at my home.

This blog will be devoted to my interest in vintage household items. I will also be rambling on about books, tennis, flowers and family. Hope you will join me.
